Sustainable web designer for solopreneurs
I help you turn your website into a digital home you’re proud to share
Green • Lightweight • Inclusive • Easy-to-manage

The path that brought me here
I built my first WordPress website in 2015.
I wanted to be a lifestyle blogger and coach, living a digital nomad life.
(Yes — I cringe too.)
Instead, I spent the next decade in tech. I optimized and managed digital products—business software, online shops, websites, mobile apps.
Along the way, I picked up all the skills that make websites work:
- Web design and development
- Performance optimization
- Conversion optimization
- User experience design
- Buying psychology
- Business strategy
- SEO and more
It’s a long list.
And for a long time, I didn’t realize how unusual that combination actually is.
Starting my solo business
In 2023, I finally put all these skills to use on one project: my own website.
I’d just gotten fired by a boss who made it clear I didn’t belong in the corporate world anymore. So I finally took the leap and started my own business — as a sustainable UX designer.
And of course, I needed a portfolio website. One that was easy to change and grow, since I was just starting out. And sustainable, because I wanted to practice what I preach.
At first, it was ‘just’ for me.
Then something interesting happened.
From DIY to expert positioning
While trying out different kinds of UX projects with different types of clients, I realized two things:
First, as solopreneurs, we almost all start out DIY.
We experiment. We pivot. We refine.
At some point, we’re clear on our audience. Our offers work. We’re making money. And we’re aiming for higher-ticket, better-fit clients. The ones that we’re truly excited to work with.
At this point, your DIY website gets in the way.
- It doesn’t reflect your expertise.
- It doesn’t show your thought leadership.
- And it certainly doesn’t match the maturity of your business.
And honestly, that’s completely normal. You’re not a web designer. You’re a brilliant consultant, freelancer, coach or service provider.
Secondly, I noticed that the sustainable and easy-to-manage website system I had built for myself was the ‘missing link’ for other experts. I saw it first with clients like Lilli and Dror: we clarified their message, elevated their branding and transformed their websites from ‘online business cards’ into sales platforms.
Turns out, these were also the projects I loved the most.
So this combination became my niche, my positioning, my message:
I build sustainable websites for solopreneurs that position them as the go-to expert in their field.
Why we need to reThink the Web
I became a sustainable web designer when I learned just how much harm our digital lives can quietly cause:
- Every year, the internet produces over 14.5 million tons of CO₂ emissions—a number that keeps rising.
- In 2025, over 90% of websites remain inaccessible to many people.
That’s why I named my business reThink the Web—because I believe we need to redesign not just our websites, but our assumptions about what the internet should be.
The future I’m working towards
I envision a world where fair, inclusive, and sustainable digital products are the norm, not the exception. A web that’s free, responsible, and a force for good.
Sustainable Website Redesigns are my way of contributing to that future — one website at a time — by helping solopreneurs lead by example.
My approach
Working with me means strategy, collaboration, and design that actually works.
Here’s what that looks like in practice:
Strategy before pixels
We don’t start with design trends—we start with clarity. Every decision is grounded in your goals, values, and the people you’re trying to reach.
Sustainable by design
From lightweight builds to inclusive design practices, I create websites that are better for the planet and everyone who visits. What’s good for people and the planet tends to be good for business, too.
Co-creation at eye level
This is your vision—I’m here to help shape and sharpen it. Expect structure, guidance, and a collaborative vibe, without the tech stress.
Here’s what my clients say about working together
Why work with me?
I speak your language
As a fellow solopreneur, I understand your type of business. The challenges. The constraints.
Every insight from my own business feeds directly into my work with you.
I’m not an agency
We work on a person-to-person basis. No large project teams, long briefing meetings or other agency overhead.
You’re not some “small client” for me. You’re the priority.
I didn’t go through art school
Being told that “creativity doesn’t pay the bills,” I came to design through tech. Turns out, that’s an advantage.
My work isn’t about the latest trends or design awards. It’s about strategy and user experience—translated into a website that actually works for your business.
I’m an expert, too
I have a broad skillset, but I focus deliberately: I only do websites. Not online shops. Not logo designs.
And I only work with service-based solopreneurs. That focus lets me understand your needs and business model deeply.
If you’re ready for your website to catch up
