Website in a Week

Go from zero to launch in five days

With a professional website finally up and running, the right people take you seriously

Your expertise is solid.
People just can’t see the full picture yet.

You’re at a networking event. Someone asks for your website, and there it is again: the pause, the awkward redirect to LinkedIn. By the time you follow up in a DM, the moment has passed.

You know building one yourself isn’t the answer. Evenings lost to tutorials, templates that never feel right, AI output that needs more fixing than starting from scratch. You didn’t start your business to moonlight as a web designer.

The longer you wait, the longer your business looks smaller than it is.

Enter Website in a Week…

This is what you can expect from getting a strategic one-page website:

  • You’re live fast. Without the detour of learning copywriting and web design.
  • Your marketing and outreach actually lead somewhere that’s 100% you.
  • You stop starting from zero every time you meet someone new.
  • Your offer is finally out there ready to be booked.

And the best thing: Your website will grow with you and your business, because I make sure it’s built on solid foundations.

This is what your website journey could look like

  • Whoohoo! I have a website! (finally)

After sitting on the copy for about 8 months, working with a friend to help me navigate Squarespace, and then using AI to try and get it “just right,” I decided to get some professional help.

HUGE HUGE thanks to Stefanie for working with me and creating this beautiful site and brand identity for me. I love it (and I never thought I’d say that about a website.)

Working with Stefanie was a joy, so easy and everything was clearly laid out, and I didn’t have my usual panic of “what if I click the wrong button and break the internet OR end up paying too much money for something I don’t need,” because Stefanie was able to advise and walk me through it all.

So if anyone here is on the fence about needing some website help, highly recommend just reaching out to Stefanie. She’ll sort you out.

  • I’m so glad Stefanie was by my side for my very first website!

Stefanie listened to my wishes to bring my design ideas to life exactly as I’d hoped.

Throughout the entire process, I felt well taken care of and always in the loop. In my personal client portal, I could see where things stood at any time and knew exactly what was coming next. Every step I had to take myself, she explained in detail — even for someone who is completely non-technical — and accompanied each one with individual explainer videos. And whenever I still had a question, she answered it quickly and patiently.

Stefanie’s combination of professionalism, warmth, and client focus produced a website that’s both genuinely professional and true to my personality and design vision — I’m absolutely thrilled! Highly recommended for anyone creating their first website.

Is Website in a Week right for you?

This is for you if:

  • You’re a solopreneur selling your expertise—coach, consultant, course creator, creative, freelancer
  • You have clarity about what you want to offer and the people you serve
  • You’re ready to hand off the design work and trust the process
  • You can commit time for calls and feedback during this fast-paced project

This offer is also for you if you already have a website that doesn’t get you results and you need a focused, strategic restart.

This isn’t the right fit if:

  • You need a redesign of a more complex website (that’s what The reLaunch is for)
  • You’re still figuring out what you offer and to whom
  • You want extensive revisions and creative control over every detail
  • You sell digital or physical products and need an e-commerce shop

Meet the web design partner for solopreneurs

Hi, I’m Stefanie. I’m a sustainable web designer and I focus on building lighter and smarter websites that work as well as they look.

I’ve seen too many brilliant solopreneurs get bogged down by website stress right when they need momentum the most. And that’s how Website in a Week came to be. A strategic one-pager with a Brand Foundations Kit that gets your work out there fast. It’s not “less than” a bigger website – it’s the strategic focus you need to get started.

Here’s something you might not know: I started my own business with just a single landing page. It was enough to connect with my first clients, build a portfolio, and grow from there. That experience taught me firsthand that a focused start is often the smartest move: small up-front investment, big business potential.

And I make sure that your website foundations still hold up 5 years from now when your business has grown.

Stefanie and another person in an animated discussion

“Is one page really enough?”

For where you are right now: yes. In fact, it’s often the smartest choice.

  • It forces clarity. With limited space, you focus on what truly matters: your core message, your audience and how you support them. No room for fluff.
  • It prevents overwhelm. A small scope means less stress, faster progress, and a quicker launch.
  • It saves resources. Building multiple pages before you’ve validated your offer costs time and money you don’t need to spend yet.
  • It’s built for validation. Use it to test your message, gather feedback, and start attracting clients and partners now.
  • It’s a foundation, not a final stop. Your one-pager is built to grow into a multi-page site when your business is ready for it.

Trying to fill a multi-page website when you’re just starting often leads to weak content and frustration. A focused one-pager gets you launched with momentum and confidence.

From blank page to live website in five days

Before we start: Preparation

Once you’ve signed the contract, I’ll send you everything you need to get ready.
  • A full overview of how the project runs
  • Access to your client portal where we’ll collaborate
  • A questionnaire about your business and creative vision
  • A list of materials I’ll need from you (like photos of yourself)
  • What you need to know on the technical side (like how to get a domain)

We’ll align on how much prep time you need and agree on a start date together.

Monday: VIP Strategy Day

We start with a morning kickoff to align on your business, audience, and offer. I spend the day defining the page structure and creative direction for your brand. We close with a review call to make sure we’re aligned before I start building.

Tuesday: Brand & Copy

I develop your Brand Foundations Kit and edit your website copy as the basis for the web design.

No overdesigning, just enough to look credible and feel like you.

Wednesday: Web design

I build your one-page WordPress website, turning Monday’s page structure plus your copy into a live site with your new branding.

Thursday: Testing

I test everything and send you a live site. You can review it before we launch and give feedback on anything that doesn’t look right just yet.

Friday: Launch

I take care of any last-minute fixes and we launch together. By the end of day Friday, you’re live.

What’s included

One thing to know before we start

This is a no revisions package. I design your website one time. That’s it. Zero design edits included.

This is how we make the one-week timeline possible. At the stage you’re at, it’s much more important to go live and start validating your offer than it is to tweak designs.

Frequently Asked Questions

The package price does not include any design edits. I design the website once. This keeps the price low and the timeline fast.

Here’s why this approach works:

  • With the thorough strategy day, your input, and a clear creative direction, there are no surprises at the end. What we align on Monday is what gets built.
  • On Thurdsay you can check the site for things like typos, something that looks off on mobile, and broken links. I will of course fix these things before our launch on Friday.
  • With the WordPress training and resources, you’ll be able to edit text and swap out images on your own.

If you still want any design revisions, you can request them at my hourly rate. (But again: At the stage you’re at, it’s much more important to go live and start validating your offer than it is to tweak designs.)

I don’t work with word limits. Instead, your one-pager follows a proven page structure with sections designed to turn visitors into clients:

  • Hero section: A strong first impression that helps the right people understand how you help them.
  • Services overview: Your offering presented clearly, so potential clients see quickly if you’re a fit.
  • About section: Your story and values, building the trust needed for someone to choose you.
  • Social proof: Testimonials or results (when you have them) to reinforce confidence.
  • Calls-to-action: Guide visitors naturally toward reaching out.
  • Contact section: A clear path for interested people to take the next step (like a contact form or a book-a-call link).
  • (Optional) Lead magnet: A newsletter or freebie to nurture people who aren’t ready to buy yet.
  • (Optional) Social media links: Connect visitors to your other platforms to start building relationships there.

The structure keeps you focused on what matters and prevents the page from becoming a wall of text. We finalize the exact sections on your VIP Strategy Day.

No problem, we can do that if you provide the copy. The layouts will be the same. There’s an additional fee of €750 for the second language and €500 for every additional language after that.

This is what you need to get your website launched: A wordmark logo or lettermark (your brand name or its abbreviation in good-looking letters) plus typography and a color palette that work on your website as well as social media together with a brief guide on how to use them. I will also source and license imagery like icons, photography, or illustrations for your website.

You won’t get custom illustrations, a truly proprietary logo suite, or unique brand patterns.

Yes you can. I work with the fabulous Anna Korlath (The Good Illustrator) who offer a Starter Branding package with just that. If you book her work as an addon, our combined package is €4,000 (website + branding).

Naturally, the project will take a bit longer because you’ll be be working with Anna to get your branding just right while I do the copy. But you won’t have to brief and coordinate two different service providers, because we are professional besties and the whole project management runs through me.

Check out Anna’s work at The Good Illustrator and then let me know before you book a call with me, so that I can invite her.

Yes and no. Any website build includes an SEO-optimized tech setup (incl. sitemap, SEO metadata with brand keywords, image alt texts, schema).

Dedicated SEO strategy, on-page and off-page optimization, or linkbuilding only make sense once you have a multi-page website and/or a blog. Once you’re at that point, your website is ready for it and I’m happy to recommend a dedicated SEO strategist.

Just a few things:

  • any content and imagery that you already have that needs to go on the website (e.g. existing copy, a headshot, client logos, …)
  • your email so I can add you to my collaboration tools
  • a filled out project briefing where you tell me about your business and website vision

There are no surprise fees or maintenance contracts from my side and I don’t include any premium plugins that you’ll need to pay for (unless you require them). Since you’ll own the website, you will pay for hosting the website and domain, which is around 20€ per month.

Yes, I only build in WordPress and for good reason: It allows you to be independent from both big platforms and developer support. The former lock you in once you want to grow, the latter make you pay for basic maintenance and every small update.

In case you’ve heard about WordPress being complicated, high-maintenance, and not secure: That’s actually a big myth other developers like to tell because it allows them to lure you into other high-maintenance solutions. It’s not about WordPress, it’s always about who built the site and whether they have a good setup.
